Our Dental Services

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers
If you want to restore your smile, crowns, bridges and veneers are the most common modern approaches. A crown is a small “cap” that looks and feels like a real tooth and is placed on top of a damaged, failing or missing tooth.

A bridge uses your existing teeth to literally create a bridge to cross the area where a tooth is missing. Your existing teeth are recontoured and covered with two crowns on either end, between which your new tooth will be placed with another crown.

Dental veneers are similar to crowns, but they cover larger areas than single crowns or bridges. If you want a completely new smile, veneers are a quick, long-lasting and natural option. In 2–3 visits, we will take an impression of your teeth, prepare them for application and then bond your veneers into place for a new smile!

Cosmetic Fillings
Cosmetic fillings are tooth-colored resin used as traditional metal fillings once were to prevent a cavity from further decay. As a more aesthetically appealing alternative to metal fillings, cosmetic fillings are the new standard in superior dental care.

Full Mouth Reconstruction
If you want a perfect Hollywood-ready smile, it may require a little more than just one simple procedure, which is where our full mouth reconstruction service comes in.

The mouth is a fantastic and complex machine that consists of many parts: your gums, bones, muscles and teeth. A full mouth reconstruction takes all of these separate entities into consideration and may require a number of procedures to ensure they all work properly while also being improved aesthetically.

We strongly suggest a consultation with Dr. Gravitte to decide whether or not you’re a candidate for full mouth reconstruction. After all, every smile and situation is unique.

Cosmetic Bleaching
Otherwise known as teeth whitening, cosmetic bleaching is the procedure by which we can help you eliminate tooth discoloration for a whiter, brighter smile.

Root Canal Therapy
As one of the most often performed (and most often misunderstood) dental procedures, a root canal is a non-surgical treatment to remove deterioration from the inside of your tooth — and a root canal can often save your natural teeth from needing to be replaced.

Extractions
While most common cause for an extraction is an incoming wisdom tooth (for which your mouth has no room), there are number of reasons an extraction may be required, including decay and poor positioning. Ultimately, whether or not a tooth needs to be extracted will be determined by your individual smile.

Here are John L. Gravitte, DDS, we can take of your extraction while ensure your complete comfort with nitrous oxide sedation. Contact us today for an extraction consultation!

Cosmetic Bonding
A popular method to enhance the beauty of your smile, cosmetic bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, or to cover up stains or discolored teeth. To accomplish this quick and single-visit procedure, we use the same tooth-colored resin as our cosmetic fillings, which we harden and set instantly after application.

Dentures (Full & Partial)
Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth that can be removed and put back into your mouth as you please. Depending on your needs, we provide full and partial dentures to create healthy, beautiful new smiles.

Dentures may take some time to get used to, but they are a much better alternative to having no teeth. Contact our team today to decide if dentures are right for you.

Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) sedation allows you to undergo all of your dental treatment while sleeping, free of fear and pain. Often referred to as sedation dentistry, or sleep dentistry, nitrous oxide sedation is used to treat people with dental phobias and anxieties, as well as people who simply prefer 100% comfort during their procedures.

Sedation dentistry is safe and pain-free — it even allows complex dental treatments that would normally take up to six visits to be completed in just one.

The best way to find out if sedation dentistry is right for you is to ask our team during one of your appointments.
