10 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Write a Business Plan
KeyeRaines

All the people who say you need a business plan are just simply crazy. After all, everything you've read up 'til now suggests all you need is a website, some good keywords, link partners and you are good to go. Oh yeah, not to mention resale rights and paypal. Let me explain why they are right.

  1. Waste of Time. Creating a business plan is a complete waste of time. The only thing you could possibly hope to accomplish is a clear vision of what your goals are and how you plan to get there.
  2. Don't Need Customers. Business plans are for the big guys who have millions of customer and lots of business to manage. You have no intention on having customers or any business to manage.
  3. Toilet Paper. Business plans aren't worth the paper their written on. It's not like you had any intentions on actually doing anything you've written anyway.
  4. No Prodcut. Who has time to do research. It's not like the product you offer actually has value in the first place.
  5. Your Boring. What's the point of getting to know your target market. They aren't interested in getting to know you.
  6. Your Lazy. Business plans only complicate the situation. You'd prefer to do things the easy way - typically no way at all.
  7. Prefer Instability. You'd prefer to build your house on sand than concrete. Afterall, the wind is going to blow it down anyway. You would much rather see it sink first.
  8. Your a Thief. A business plan will only help you clearly define your concept and ideas. But hey, you've been doing great stealing everybody else's why stop now.
  9. Your Clueless. On top of that, not only do you NOT want to understnad your own concept, but you don't want anyone else to understand it either. This is a really good reason to not use a business plan.
  10. Spaghetti. Last but not least, you've spent your whole life throwing "stuff" up against the wall and hoping it sticks, no need to change now.

So there you have it. All the reasons why you shouldn't write a business plan. Pretty compelling aren't they.
